This is a great erotica collection. I really liked all the stories and also liked that they were short and to the point and didn't drone on and on. It's one of the better anthologies on the market. I also liked and would recommend Afternoon Delight: Erotica For Couples.
My husband bought this one for me because he liked the picture on the cover and its one of the few he has read all the way through. Of all the 'Best Womens' series, this is my favorite. He calls it his sex manual and he likes living out the stories in the book, which is ok by me as we have had some sizzling sessions. The Best Womens Erotica 2009 (EasyRead Comfort Edition) is good, in fact every book in the series is excellent, but this one still remains my most loved. I have to admit that I haven't read them in chronological order but who cares. Also enjoyed Breaking the Girl by Kim Curum and also Elizabeth Chamberlain's Absolute Erotica: The Definitive Collection which is the other book he has read all the way through. And again bought because of the girl on the cover having an orgasm.
This collection is a few years old, but don't think it doesn't deliver. It was good and I am now looking forward to getting more of the Best Women's Erotica collections. For me it did, very much so. I don't think there was a single story inside that made me roll my eyes or wince. (A new one for every new year). A recommend, along with Hurts So Good: Unrestrained Erotica.
The stories in this anthology are hot, but not icky, as some erotica can be. Seriously some of the best erotic writing I have run across. It's not dumbed down, at all, and really flows. It's a good one, that's for sure. I read it along with Be With Me.
This is a good anthology in that the stories are a little more intellectual than others that I have read. But I don't think that takes away from it. It was fun, easy and sexy, all the things I look for in erotica. Also liked Nancy Friday' book My Secret Garden.
